Day 9: Visit to an indigenous village and return to Manaus – Conclusion of the tour

Last day – On the ninth day of the Amazon SUP Adventure Tour, the travelers observed large macaws (parrots) early in the morning and everyone was very happy about it. After breakfast we went to the Indian reservoir, where the tour group visited an indigenous village. Nevertheless, the Indians warmly welcomed the travelers and were very happy about their visit. The children in the village were amazed by the technical achievements of our time and showed their tick-tock videos to the travelers. Eventually, the Indians came to the meetinghouse to see the travelers. The chief was very friendly and introduced himself to the travelers. The Indians who live here in the reservoir lead a life in harmony with nature and its traditions. This way of life allows them peace and stability, as well as almost complete independence. Our journey is coming to an end and we board our ship for the last time to head towards Manaus. Around 5:00 p.m. we pass the large bridge over the Rio Negro and see the harbor. With melancholy in our hearts and many unforgettable experiences, we say goodbye to the entire crew by hugging each other warmly and tipping them. We arrive at our hotel and after check-in we meet on the terrace of the annex to end the evening with food and drinks. Brazilians are very cheerful, even on weekdays people dance, eat and drink on the streets to loud music. For me it is not the last evening in Brazil, as I fly back to Fortaleza tomorrow morning while my new friends return to Germany. This trip was full of adventures and unforgettable experiences that we will not soon forget. Every adventure trip leaves special impressions and I seem to be addicted to it.
