I am a nature and adventure lover and I have been traveling to Brazil for almost 20 years to enjoy the beauty of the country and nature. In the summer of 2021, I organized a 9-day Amazon SUP Adventure Tour with 6 friends as a test run for a commercial tour. We drove along the Rio Negro and explored the largest contiguous rainforest in the world.
First day, we started in Manaus, got our equipment and prepared for the next few days. After settling in on our ship, the Cruzador, we headed upstream and admired the banks of the Rio Negro. On the first evening we cooked together and enjoyed nature and the silence of the rainforest.
In the days that followed, we explored the river, paddled on our stand-up paddle boards, and watched the wildlife. Our guide Jean, a real Indian, was on hand to help and advise us and answer all our questions.
The tour was an unforgettable experience for all nature lovers and SUP enthusiasts. We enjoyed the beauty of nature and the feeling of freedom on the river. It was like climbing a mountain peak – each tour was unique and unforgettable.
