Discovering the Beauty of the Brazilian Rainforest – A 9-Day Amazon SUP Adventure Tour.

I am a nature and adventure lover and have been traveling to Brazil for almost 20 years to enjoy the beauty of the country and its nature. In the summer of 2021, I organized a 9-day Amazon SUP Adventure Tour with 6 friends as a test run for a commercial tour. We traveled along the Rio Negro and explored the largest contiguous rainforest in the world.

Day 1: Starting in Manaus and enjoying the tranquility of the rainforest

On the first day, we started in Manaus, got our equipment, and provisioned ourselves for the next few days. After settling into our ship, the Cruzador, we sailed upstream, admiring the banks of the Rio Negro. On the first evening, we cooked together and enjoyed nature and the silence of the rainforest.

In the following days, we explored the river, paddled on our stand-up paddleboards, and observed the wildlife. Our guide Jean, a true Indian, was there to assist us with advice and practical help and answered all our questions.

The tour was an unforgettable experience for all nature lovers and SUP enthusiasts. We enjoyed the beauty of nature and the feeling of freedom on the river. It was like climbing a mountain peak – each tour was unique and unforgettable.
