Visit to an Indigenous Village and Return to Manaus – End of the Tour
Last Day – On the ninth day of the Amazon SUP Adventure Tour, the travelers observed large macaws (parrots) early in the morning and everyone was very happy about it. After breakfast, they went to the indigenous reserve, where the group visited an indigenous village. Nevertheless, the indigenous people warmly welcomed the travelers and were very happy about their visit. The children in the village were fascinated by the technological achievements of our time and showed the travelers their TikTok videos. Finally, the indigenous people gathered in the community house to see the travelers. The chief was very friendly and introduced himself to the travelers. The Indigenous people who live here in the reserve lead a life in harmony with nature and their traditions. This way of life provides them with peace and stability, as well as almost complete independence. Our journey is coming to an end, and we board our ship for the last time to travel towards Manaus. Around 5:00 PM, we pass the large bridge over the Rio Negro and catch sight of the port. With a heavy heart and many unforgettable experiences, we bid farewell to the entire crew by warmly embracing them and giving them a tip. We arrive at our hotel, and after checking in, we meet on the terrace of the adjacent building to end the evening with food and drinks. Brazilians are very cheerful; even on weekdays, they dance, eat, and drink to loud music in the streets. For me, it's not the last evening in Brazil, as I fly back to Fortaleza tomorrow morning, while my new friends return to Germany. This trip was full of adventures and unforgettable experiences that we won't soon forget. Every adventure trip leaves special impressions, and I seem to be addicted to them.
